MARKET AT ST. ANDREWS RESOURCE CENTRE IN PEARSE ST.
The market running for 20 years now! It is one of the original farmers' markets.
Beibhinn Byrne and partner Nialll Duignan sell organic wholefoods and artisan products as well as environmentally sound beauty products and household cleaners.
Penny and Udo langhe sell biodynamic and organic fruit and veg.
The healy's also from kiltegan sell organic fruit and veg. we have other prodcuers there such as George Heise from slane selling his artisan bread, Sunil who does delicious fairtrade coffee and home made iced cupcakes as well as Spicer artisan pastries from Navan, we are currently trying to source other top quality/ slow food producers and we hope to add fish and organic meat to the market over the next while, as well as a library of cookbooks and nutritional information for shoppers to use In time we also hope to run activities and events and the whole market is designed to allow people to relax as well as get involved and help out if they wish, as we very much see the buyers as co produers and it is their market ultimately.
NEW FARMERS MARKET, TALLAGHT
South Dublin County Council is proud to announce the opening of a new weekly Farmers Market in the heart of Tallaght, West Dublin. The market, which will be launched on Friday, 16th March 2007, is located on the “High Streetscape” close to the Abberley Court Hotel.
The Market will be open every Friday from 10am to 4pm and will offer a wide variety of quality foods, including organic fruit and vegetables from local producers, organic meat, preserves, hand crafted breads and cakes, a selection of handmade goat’s cheese, Italian coffee beans, gourmet sauces, home baked cakes and biscuits, Indian pickles and chutneys, home cooked vegetarian snacks from around the world, organic wines, muesli, pastries and a wide range of olives.
The Tallaght Farmers Market provides a unique opportunity for local residents to buy “just-picked” produce straight from the farmers who grew it.
The grand opening on March 16th will feature local personalities, live music, free food tasting, face painting and other activities for children!

SONAIRTE MARKET IN MEATH, EVERY 3rd SUNDAY
Sonairte the Ecology Centre is on the Laytown Road near Bettystown in Meath. Farmers Markets are held there every third Sunday of the month, 10.30 to 5pm. Delicious, fresh, locally produced goods are sold and include organic produce. Feast your eyes on vegetables, eggs, cakes, breads, jams, European wines, fabulous cheese and yoghurts plus a selection of craft stalls. Athy Farmers’ Market and Craft Fair takes place every Sunday from 10am until 3pm in Emily Square. Each month the market offers more variety and more reasons to return. There is a great community spirit, shoppers get to meet the producers, the prices are very competitive, and all this makes the market a very enjoyable shopping experience.
Produce on sale include fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, preserves, home baking handmade chocolates, fresh breads, farmhouse cheese, free range meats, olives, dips and dressings, vegetarian and hot snack foods and coffee.
There is also a talented local craft element to the market. Candles, soaps, art, jewellery, woodturning, glassware, willow work, basketry and plants are sold.

DUNHILL MARKET, WATERFORD
The Dunhill Community Group operates a very successful Local Produce Market on the last Sunday of each month in the Parochial Hall in the village from 12 noon to 2 p.m. This is our 12th year of trading and we continue to welcome new patrons, suppliers and customers.
Fresh free-range eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables direct from the field, local mild, mature & vintages cheeses, venison sausages manufactured locally, the local fish catch direct from the sea, a range of smoked and seafood specialities, a huge range of home made bakery products - cakes, buns, scones, bracks, brown loaves, tarts, sponges, tea cakes, biscuits etc. are all available and great value.
Local orchards supply apples & apple juice at very keen prices
Home made chocolates are another speciality. We have a wide range of preserves, jams, chutneys and honey.
Our own resident French Chef provides a fantastic display of morning fresh artisan breads, pâtés and desserts.
